Senior Life400 Developer – Integral

About the role

DXC Insurance Software & BPS (ISB) is seeking a Senior Life400 Developer to join the Integral Centre of Excellence. You will be a senior technical contributor responsible for delivering, enhancing, and stabilising the Integral/Life400 core policy administration platform for European life and pensions clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Integral/Life400 functionality across policy administration, billing, claims, and financial processing.
• Produce production‑ready code using SMART400, ILE COBOL, CL, and DB2/400 following DXC engineering standards.
• Perform impact analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, and support release and post‑go‑live activities.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for complex production incidents, root‑cause analysis, and data correction.
• Support and enhance integrations with finance, CRM, and digital channels using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Contribute to modernisation initiatives such as migration, consolidation, and automation.
• Maintain technical documentation, support audit and regulatory readiness, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Integral/Life400 in a delivery or support environment.
• Deep knowledge of life insurance and/or pensions products and processes.
• Proven ability to mentor junior developers and collaborate with architects, analysts, and testers.
