Senior Manager, Platform Engineering

About the role

Prove is seeking a Senior Manager of Platform Engineering to lead two critical teams in Ireland – Platform Developer Enablement and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Reporting to the VP of Platform Engineering, you will shape the cloud infrastructure strategy, drive developer self‑service, and ensure extreme reliability and observability across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a unified platform strategy that aligns Platform Engineering and SRE teams.
• Build internal developer platform services that enable product teams to provision infrastructure autonomously.
• Lead SRE initiatives to achieve an internal SLO of 99.999% and establish robust incident management processes.
• Create repeatable operational processes and comprehensive documentation.
• Implement company‑wide observability standards using OpenTelemetry instrumentation.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing Platform Engineering and/or SRE teams.
• Strong ability to translate high‑level strategy into day‑to‑day execution.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
