Senior Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading medical‑device manufacturing organisation. The role will focus on driving manufacturing excellence, supporting process improvements and ensuring compliance across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and data‑driven methods.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D and Regulatory Affairs teams.
• Coordinate engineering change activities through established Change Control procedures.
• Conduct root‑cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support process validations, equipment qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) and manufacturing transfers.
• Ensure all activities comply with GMP, regulatory and quality‑system requirements.
• Develop and maintain work instructions, process specifications and other manufacturing documentation.
• Provide technical support for production issues and deliver sustainable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3‑5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a highly regulated environment (medical‑device, pharmaceutical, etc.).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering principles and quality‑system methodologies.
• Proven experience managing Change Management/Change Control activities.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple manufacturing sites and manage several projects simultaneously.
