Senior Maximo Consultant

About the role

Nucleo is seeking a Senior Maximo Consultant to lead end‑to‑end delivery of Maximo solutions for asset‑focused, highly regulated clients. You will combine high‑level functional design with hands‑on technical implementation, guiding organisations through digital transformation of their asset management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect Maximo MX7.6.x/MAS solutions, sizing and estimating projects.
• Configure, troubleshoot and optimise Maximo components as the technical/functional single point of contact.
• Lead discovery workshops, translate business requirements into Functional and Technical Design Documents.
• Provide functional advisory on Work Management, Supply Chain and Asset Life‑Cycle best practices.
• Design data schemas and reporting strategies using BIRT, Cognos or SQL‑based ETL processes; act as data lead for migrations and data‑led solutions.
• Serve as technical lead for large‑scale deployments, managing the system change lifecycle from development to production.
• Mentor junior consultants and stay current with IBM roadmap updates.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on Maximo experience, preferably in the utilities sector.
• 5+ years in a client‑facing consulting role delivering end‑to‑end solutions.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, produce design documentation and lead technical delivery.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Continuous learning mindset with awareness of emerging IBM Maximo features.
