Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

About the role

Blackpool Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic in Cork City is looking for a Senior Chartered Physiotherapist with a strong musculoskeletal background. You will join a busy private practice that serves a diverse referral base from GPs, consultants, sports clubs and the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver individual musculoskeletal physiotherapy consultations in a dedicated treatment room.
• Manage post‑operative rehabilitation, rheumatology, spinal and orthopaedic cases, as well as complex lower‑limb injuries.
• Provide women’s health physiotherapy (ante‑ and post‑natal) and support occupational injury recovery.
• Treat sports‑related injuries ranging from weekend warriors to competitive athletes.
• Collaborate with a team of six physiotherapists, participate in peer case discussions and contribute to in‑service CPD.
• Optionally teach Pilates or other fitness classes using the clinic’s reformer studio and gym.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
• Registered with CORU and member (or eligible) of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and ability to handle a varied caseload.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and teamwork.
