Senior Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ireland. The role combines hands‑on project delivery, advanced technical support and presales consultancy across modern networking and security technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and implement secure network and security solutions, leading deployments of firewalls, VPNs and SASE platforms.
• Act as the Level 3 escalation point, performing proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, optimisation and post‑incident analysis.
• Support sales teams with technical scoping, solution design and proposals, and present solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders, mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, NSE4/7, CCNP Security or SASE certifications are highly advantageous.
