Senior Product Security Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Product Security Engineer you will join a leading technology innovator in Cork, driving the design and implementation of secure hardware and software features across the product portfolio. You will work independently, applying deep security knowledge to protect products throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new hardware and software security features and integrate updates into existing products.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability and risk analyses, threat modeling, and security code reviews.
• Identify and remediate security risks, respond to product security incidents, and support customers on security issues.
• Create and deliver training and tools that promote secure product development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure security requirements are met.

Required profile

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of security engineering experience or related work experience.
• 2+ years of programming experience with languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or System Verilog.
