Senior Project Manager – ICT Programme (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high‑impact ICT programme for a public sector client. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, based in Dublin with a hybrid working model, and offers the opportunity to work closely with C‑suite executives and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain governance and reporting cadences to track programme recommendations.
• Coordinate stakeholder progress reports, monitor milestones and ensure alignment with organisational strategy.
• Facilitate governance meetings, communicate directives and drive strategic decisions.
• Plan and deliver ICT services in line with strategic goals, enhancing prioritisation methodologies.
• Develop comprehensive programme reports highlighting achievements, challenges and next steps.
• Oversee financial management, monitor budget transactions and provide regular financial status updates.
• Identify, manage and mitigate risks and issues, maintaining up‑to‑date RAID documentation.
• Manage external stakeholder engagement and ensure appropriate funding allocation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Project Manager in the public sector, preferably within ICT or cyber domains.
• Proven ability to engage with senior executives and produce high‑quality reports.
• Strong independent working style with end‑to‑end ownership of deliverables.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland at the time of application.
