Senior Project Quantity Surveyor

About the role

This is a phenomenal opportunity to join the Silent Aire team at Johnson Controls as a Senior Project Quantity Surveyor. You will be a key member of the Project Management Office, delivering robust cost planning, pricing and commercial management across a portfolio of new and existing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and pricing models for new projects.
• Review and validate feasibility studies, cost plans and business cases.
• Lead the preparation and issuance of RFQ packs, ensuring clear scope, pricing schedules and commercial terms.
• Manage the tender process from issuance through evaluation, analyse quotations and support contract award negotiations.
• Monitor and control costs across live projects, track commitments, forecast final costs and produce regular cost reports.
• Administer contracts, manage variations, claims and change events while ensuring compliance with governance standards.
• Provide commercial input to project planning, scheduling and risk assessments.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities, promote value‑engineering initiatives and manage contingencies.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or a related discipline.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi‑disciplinary construction projects, preferably with data‑centre or HVAC exposure.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
