Senior Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

Phoenix Healthcare is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Officer to join its GMP‑manufacturing site in Tallaght. The role will provide expert quality guidance, drive a strong quality culture and ensure continuous compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Key responsibilities

• Provide subject‑matter expertise on quality for all facility operations.
• Promote quality awareness, deliver training and support staff on quality‑related activities.
• Maintain GMP document control processes, including batch review, document issuance and training records.
• Monitor and report on the performance of the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS) and propose improvements.
• Execute internal GMP audits, manage corrective actions and track their completion via the change‑management system.
• Oversee GxP audit records (change controls, deviations, CAPAs) within the electronic Quality System.
• Support compliance escalation, work with the broader QMS and QA team to meet KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Administer the Quality Management System: allocate document numbers, maintain logs, archive records and ensure Good Documentation Practices.

Required profile

• BSc or equivalent scientific degree.
• Proven experience in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality governance and document control.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple departments.

• Understanding of GDPs (Good Distribution Practices).
