Senior Site Engineer – Development Projects

About the role

Our client, Ireland’s largest residential and commercial developer, is launching a mixed‑use project in North Dublin and seeks a Senior Site Engineer to lead on‑site activities. This is a long‑term, growth‑focused role with clear pathways toward site management.

Key responsibilities

• Review plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Interpret design documents from clients, architects and the design team.
• Coordinate communication with consultants, subcontractors, site supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and on‑site teams.
• Supervise and track progress of groundworks and civil‑engineering contractors.
• Identify and resolve unforeseen technical issues during construction.
• Manage all health and safety activities to ensure site compliance.
• Oversee quality‑control processes and ensure adherence to BCAR requirements.

Required profile

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or a related discipline).
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with a leading developer or main contractor.
• Solid understanding of current Irish building regulations and certification standards.
