Senior Site Manager – Data Centre Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations on major data‑centre developments in Dublin. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, subcontractors and client representatives to deliver mission‑critical facilities safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations and coordinate all construction activities.
• Supervise subcontractors, ensuring work complies with specifications and programme requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Monitor site progress and provide regular reports to the project team.
• Control labour, plant and material resources effectively.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout construction.
• Resolve on‑site issues and liaise with design and project teams as needed.
• Support commissioning, testing and handover activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on large‑scale construction projects.
• Experience delivering data‑centres, industrial, logistics, pharmaceutical or other mission‑critical developments (highly desirable).
• Background working for a main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management and programme delivery.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Relevant construction qualification (degree, diploma or trade).
• Current Health & Safety certifications.
• Commitment to quality, safety and project excellence.
