Senior Site Reliability & Maintenance Manager

About the role

PE Global is seeking a Senior Site Reliability & Maintenance Manager for a leading multinational FMCG client in Dublin. This fixed‑term position runs until the end of the year and leads a team of seven managers and 50 technicians in a unionised manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and manage direct‑report maintenance managers, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Maintain stable employee relations, partnering with labour representatives to implement operational changes.
• Drive a culture of high asset reliability to maximise engineering uptime and minimise interruptions.
• Own the site’s Asset Maintenance programme, standardising business continuity and compliance plans.
• Embed Progressive Maintenance principles and champion Condition‑Based Monitoring, predictive analytics and digital tools to achieve zero breakdowns.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and developing managers in fast‑paced manufacturing/CPG settings.
• Successful track record working in unionised environments with strong negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, automation or related) preferred, with optional university degree.
• Deep knowledge of industrial maintenance, asset lifecycle management and spare‑parts optimisation.
• Strong financial acumen and experience handling large‑scale budgets and engineering projects.
