Senior Social Worker / Team Leader – Children’s Disability Network

About the role
This is an exciting full‑time opportunity to lead a Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT) supporting children with complex intellectual, physical or sensory disabilities and their families. The Senior Social Worker/Team Leader will deliver evidence‑based, family‑centred services in line with Progressing Disability Services (PDS) principles.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, person‑centred social work interventions for children and families within the CDNT.
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team, offering clinical supervision to social workers and students.
- Conduct expert assessments and reflective practice to meet complex needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Required profile
- Degree or Masters in Social Work (or equivalent) with a National Qualification in Social Work (NQSW).
- Fully registered with CORU and at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
- Proven ability to assess, supervise and support families with complex disabilities.
- Excellent communication, time‑management and self‑direction skills.
- Full clean driver’s licence and access to a car.
