Senior Supplier Relationship Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading global healthcare manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Supplier Relationship Manager to lead a global team and oversee a complex portfolio of external manufacturing partners. This strategic role ensures supply continuity, drives supplier performance and manages critical Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO) relationships across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a global supply chain team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Manage strategic relationships with multiple CMOs and external manufacturing partners worldwide.
• Drive supplier performance through governance, KPI management and continuous improvement.
• Ensure reliable product supply, risk mitigation and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Lead supply review meetings and governance forums with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support new product introductions, technical transfers, product launches and change control activities.
• Partner with senior leadership to deliver strategic supply chain initiatives and operational excellence programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and developing supply chain teams.
• Significant experience managing external manufacturing partners and CMOs in a complex supply chain environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across global organisations.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare or FMCG sectors is highly desirable.
• Degree qualified in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Science or a related discipline.
