Senior Technical Product Manager

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Technical to lead the development of new capabilities for its Decision Management Platform, a high‑performance, Java‑based system that processes billions of transactions each month. The role sits at the intersection of product, business analysis and engineering, translating business goals into technical solutions that enhance fraud prevention and identity verification services.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of product capabilities across multiple engineering teams.
• Partner with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, Architects and Engineering Leads to define vision, roadmap and technical requirements.
• Elicit, analyse and document business and system requirements, converting them into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Lead requirements‑gathering workshops and facilitate discussions with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers to design scalable, secure and maintainable solutions that meet Mastercard standards and regulatory constraints.
• Manage product execution activities such as backlog prioritisation, release planning and feature delivery.
• Drive SDLC activities including business requirements, functional specifications, use cases and process flows.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a product manager delivering complex, high‑scale software solutions, preferably in fraud prevention or risk management.
• Strong ability to translate business objectives into clear technical requirements.
• Experience working with cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary teams in an agile environment.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security and regulatory compliance.
