Senior Trainer & Consultant – International Trade & Compliance

About the role

Export Edge is seeking a Senior Trainer / Consultant to design, deliver and evaluate professional training programmes in international trade, credit management, trade finance, exporting, logistics and compliance. This part‑time hybrid position combines on‑site client training, consultancy work and remote course preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update accredited course material to reflect current regulations and industry best practices.
• Facilitate classroom and virtual training sessions for diverse corporate audiences.
• Provide tailored consultancy advice to client organisations on risk management, regulatory compliance and business development.
• Conduct learner needs assessments and contribute to programme accreditation.
• Support business development through client marketing, outbound sales and thought‑leadership activities.

Required profile

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in professional training design, curriculum development and instructional design.
• Consultancy background advising companies on international business, risk and compliance.
• Relevant academic background in business, international trade, finance, logistics or related fields; professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong analytical and research abilities to keep content up‑to‑date.
