Senior Training Specialist

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Training Specialist to lead the site training function in Galway, Ireland. You will design, deliver and continuously improve training programs that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements, ensuring the workforce has the skills needed for operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with management, employees and departments to identify training needs and develop effective solutions.
• Recommend, develop, acquire and deliver training programs that support company objectives.
• Implement and maintain training metrics to monitor effectiveness and business impact.
• Summarize training assessment results and attendance data, presenting findings to management.
• Create training materials in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Develop and maintain training programs that comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support the implementation of Training Within Industry (TWI) methodology and other initiatives to optimise training practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading site‑wide training functions in a regulated environment.
• Strong ability to assess training needs and translate them into measurable programmes.
• Experience designing, delivering and evaluating training curricula.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse training data and report insights to senior leadership.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to employee training.
