Shift Supervisor

About the role

The Shift Supervisor will lead a production shift across three manufacturing teams, ensuring daily output, quality, and on‑time delivery for Suretank Group’s modular and pressure‑vessel solutions. This rotating shift position requires strong leadership, tactical workflow management, and a focus on continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver daily plant production targets and meet agreed customer delivery dates.
• Maintain high product quality, control costs, and ensure SOP compliance.
• Lead shift meetings to review performance data, address issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage workflow by allocating crew and resources across all manufacturing teams.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean initiatives and the 6S programme.
• Expedite materials, equipment, and resources to keep production balanced.
• Provide technical feedback, coaching, and training to build a high‑performance team.
• Handle operational HR matters such as time‑keeping, holidays, and disciplinary actions.
• Lead preventative maintenance planning and intervene as needed.
• Implement health & safety policies, report near‑miss incidents, and promote a safe work environment.
• Ensure completion of Shop Routing Cards, Inspection Test Plans, paint reports, and other required documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in an engineering/fabrication environment.
• Manufacturing experience in modular, offshore tank, or pressure‑vessel production.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is an advantage.
• Performance‑driven with strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
