Site Civils Foreman / Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Civils Foreman / Supervisor to lead civil engineering and groundworks activities on construction sites. The role involves coordinating crews, subcontractors and plant while ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily civil engineering and groundworks tasks, including earthworks, drainage, utilities, roadworks and concrete works.
• Lead site crews, subcontractors and plant operators, conducting briefings and toolbox talks.
• Ensure works follow project drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Monitor progress against programme, report productivity and flag potential delays.
• Maintain site records such as daily diaries, labour returns and plant usage.
• Inspect completed work to verify quality standards and client requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries and resource allocation.
• Promote a positive safety culture and enforce health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Civils Foreman, Site Supervisor or similar role in civil engineering or construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Full driving licence and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
