About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Hydrographic Surveyor to join our Special Engineering Services division in Cork. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in water‑based surveying, supporting flood‑model development and infrastructure design across Ireland.
Key responsibilities
- Capture high‑quality data for flood models and relief schemes.
- Conduct cross‑section surveys of rivers, streams, lakes and flood plains.
- Operate the latest hydrographic and bathymetric survey equipment.
- Navigate and work from boats and power canoes in various water conditions.
- Assist with additional tasks as required by the business.
Required profile
- Previous surveying experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong teamwork attitude with the ability to take initiative.
- Willingness to travel nationwide to client sites.
- Legal right to work in Ireland.
