Site Foreman

About the role

Oakwood Group is expanding its residential development portfolio across Dublin and seeks an experienced Site Foreman to lead day‑to‑day construction activities. Working closely with the Directors, you will own site organisation, ensure safety and quality, and drive projects from early stages to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and coordinate all trades.
• Deliver projects on schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams effectively.
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards across all works.
• Collaborate with Directors on project progress and reporting.
• Assist with supplier pricing, negotiations and commercial awareness.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics.
• Ensure clear communication and professionalism throughout the build cycle.
• Take ownership of site organisation and programme delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Foreman.
• Strong carpentry background.
• Proven experience in residential construction projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Deep understanding of site management and full build cycles.
• Experience with supplier negotiations and pricing awareness (highly desirable).
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Desire for long‑term progression within a growing company.
