Site Manager

About the role

The Site Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of a healthcare facility in Limerick, ensuring high‑quality patient care while meeting contractual, regulatory and financial targets. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role combines operational oversight, quality management and people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects of the facility, including patient services, staffing, stock control and payroll.
• Conduct regular audits against contract standards and regulatory frameworks (MEG, HSE, HIQA, JCI) and maintain complete audit documentation.
• Implement and maintain the ISO quality management system, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare cost reports, manage budgeting, billing and cost‑control initiatives.
• Manage human‑resources functions: recruitment, training, performance monitoring, absenteeism and turnover analysis, roster planning and succession planning.
• Maintain strong client relationships, address complaints, promote on‑site services and represent the site in client meetings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing a healthcare or medical facility.
• Strong knowledge of ISO quality standards and audit requirements such as HSE, HIQA and JCI.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage large budgets.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on cost control and financial reporting.
• Effective communication skills for client liaison and stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Experience with financial reporting and budgeting in a healthcare setting.
