Small Molecule Drug Product Technical Lead

About the role

The Small Molecule Drug Product Technical Lead provides technical project management and subject‑matter expertise for non‑sterile small‑molecule drug products manufactured at external contract sites. The role works within Virtual Site Operations Teams to drive investigations, technology transfers, and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical investigations, develop and implement CAPA actions.
• Manage complex technical changes, including technology transfers and process optimization projects.
• Oversee project budgets, risks, and mitigation plans throughout change periods.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and contract manufacturers.
• Facilitate Virtual Site Operations Team meetings, track actions, and produce project documentation.

Required profile

• Proven ability to resolve technical problems using clear problem statements and defined CAPA.
• Experience leading matrix teams and communicating progress to stakeholders.
• Strong project‑management mindset with ownership of administrative project activities.
• Comfortable working independently and driving proactive optimization initiatives.
