Software Developer – 3scale API Management

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer to join the 3scale team in Dublin and help shape the future of API management. You will work on the open‑source 3scale project, ensuring high quality, scalability and a great user experience for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Write, review and maintain production‑grade Python code.
• Perform deep‑dive root‑cause analysis on critical customer bugs.
• Advocate for usability and UX across the product.
• Participate in feature development lifecycle and test automation.
• Design and execute automated tests using Pytest and Selenium.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Explore and integrate new technologies into the ecosystem.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong background in software development with Python and UNIX shell scripting.
• Experience with software testing, debugging and automated test frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and collaborative development using Git.
• Growth‑mindset and willingness to learn and collaborate.
