Software Development Engineer – AI Voice Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer to join a global technology leader’s AI‑powered voice assistant team in Dublin. This 12‑month contract role focuses on building scalable, real‑time services that enable millions of users to perform actions such as booking rides, reserving restaurants, and ordering food through conversational AI.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable API integrations with third‑party services.
• Develop, test, and maintain microservices in a distributed cloud environment.
• Build high‑throughput, real‑time systems that power AI‑driven user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across multiple regions to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Contribute to the expansion of intelligent assistant capabilities in international markets.

Required profile

• Strong experience in API development and integration.
• Solid background in microservices architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Proven ability to build scalable, high‑performance systems.
• Experience with real‑time data processing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across distributed teams.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment.
