Software Engineer – AI Products

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a small, fast‑moving team that builds AI‑powered products from the ground up. You will work on a global learning platform that serves millions of users, contributing to both the core architecture and innovative AI features.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production‑grade services using Python and FastAPI.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into functional features.
• Experiment with modern AI tooling and integrate it into existing products.
• Maintain and optimise cloud infrastructure, relational and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers while learning from senior colleagues.

Required profile

• Enjoy building products from scratch and taking ownership of features.
• Comfortable moving between detailed implementation and high‑level product thinking.
• Curious about how AI can add real value to user‑facing applications.

Required skills

• Python (including FastAPI)
• Typescript and React
• Cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Relational databases (SQL)
• NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Modern AI tooling and libraries
