Software Engineer – API & Microservices

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in API and microservice development to join our hybrid team in Dublin/Letterkenny. You will work on cloud‑native solutions within Azure, supporting a strong health‑care platform that leverages modern data and messaging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Java and Python.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform in Azure environments.
• Integrate data stores such as Snowflake and PostgreSQL and handle streaming data via Kafka.
• Apply secure development practices, including authentication and secrets management.
• Ensure observability, monitor performance, and provide production support.

Required profile

• Experience building API‑centric microservices in a cloud setting.
• Familiarity with health‑care domain concepts, especially HEDIS, is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid team.
