Software Engineer - Cloud Platform

About the role

Join Cisco's Common Platform Services team to design and build scalable, cloud‑native applications that power a modern SaaS platform. You will work on high‑concurrency micro‑services, contributing to a secure, efficient hybrid cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy robust micro‑services using modern programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ship high‑quality features.
• Maintain and improve existing services by troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing performance, reliability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best‑practice standards for cloud platform development.

Required profile

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years (BS) or 1+ years (MS) of software development or cloud/platform engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a global, multi‑disciplinary environment.
