About the role

Microsoft Security is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Identity team, which protects Microsoft platforms from large‑scale signup and telecom fraud. You will work on cutting‑edge machine‑learning and security solutions that safeguard billions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain detection and blocking mechanisms for bot accounts, phishing, spam, and telecom fraud.
• Build and operate a state‑of‑the‑art machine‑learning platform for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with threat‑intelligence teams to incorporate signals from internal and external sources.
• Investigate advanced nation‑state attacks and translate findings into actionable defenses.
• Contribute to the scalability and reliability of distributed systems that process real‑time security data.

Required profile

• Passion for security, identity protection, and anti‑fraud technologies.
