SRE Operations Engineer (3 days onsite)

About the role
We are looking for an SRE Operations Engineer to join a global payments technology company. The role is based in Dublin and requires three days on‑site each week, supporting secure and scalable digital transactions across more than 200 countries.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and resolve production incidents using Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Handle work orders, perform ad‑hoc testing and validation.
- Support incident, change and service request processes through ITSM tools.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues.
- Maintain Confluence documentation for recurring problems.
- Participate in shift‑based operations, including weekend coverage.
Required profile
- 5‑8 years of experience in production support, SRE or NOC environments.
- Strong Unix/Linux background.
- Proficiency with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Python scripting.
- Splunk and Dynatrace monitoring tools.
- ITSM tools such as Remedy and Jira.
- WinSCP, CyberArk, PuTTY, Toad.
