Staff Nurse / Enhanced Nurse Practitioner – Ennis

About the role

Corlann Clare is seeking dedicated nursing professionals to join its team in Ennis, County Clare. The positions are focused on supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring they enjoy a fulfilling and safe life. Both Staff Nurse and Enhanced Nurse Practitioner roles are available on a permanent basis, offering full‑time and part‑time options.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality nursing care to adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families and external agencies.
• Administer medication, monitor health status and respond to emergencies.
• Promote health education and preventative care.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
• Valid full manual driving licence for travel on Irish roads.
• Positive attitude and commitment to person‑centred care.
• Willingness to work in a community‑based setting in Ennis.

Required skills

• Clinical nursing competencies relevant to intellectual disability care.
• Ability to document care accurately and maintain confidentiality.
