Supply Chain Director – Europe

About the role

We are looking for a senior pharmaceutical Supply Chain leader to own end‑to‑end supply chain operations across European markets. You will be the key partner for General Managers and regional leadership, ensuring product availability from external manufacturing to patients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead European supply chain operations, guaranteeing continuity of supply and optimal inventory levels.
• Manage strategic relationships with CMOs, warehouses, logistics providers and distributors.
• Oversee supply planning, aligning commercial forecasts with manufacturing and inventory strategies.
• Monitor supplier and logistics performance against quality, service, delivery and cost targets.
• Resolve critical supply issues and mitigate risks.
• Manage the supply chain budget and financial activities.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Legal and Finance functions.
• Support product launches, lifecycle management and serialization initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across the supply chain network.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of supply chain experience in pharma, biotech or specialty healthcare.
• Proven track record managing European supply chains across multiple markets.
• Strong experience with CMOs, logistics providers and distribution partners.
• Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences or another scientific discipline preferred.
• Solid understanding of GMP and GDP requirements.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Experience in rare diseases, specialty pharma, biotechnology or oncology is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or equivalent ERP systems.
