About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Support Pharmacist to join our community‑focused pharmacy group in Portarlington on a 2‑3 days per week basis. The role offers a collaborative environment where you will help deliver excellent customer care while developing your professional skills.
Key responsibilities
- Support the supervising pharmacist in managing staff, stock, sales and housekeeping.
- Oversee dispensary tasks and ensure compliance with PSI legislation and dispensing practices.
- Assist dispensary staff and colleagues across the branch as needed.
- Mentor less‑experienced team members.
Required profile
- Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- Customer‑focused, courteous and compassionate.
- Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well‑organised with solid administrative abilities.
- Flexible to work some Saturdays and able to handle pressure during busy periods.
Required skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy dispensing procedures and PSI regulations.
