Tax Associate – Corporate & Financial Services

About the role

Our client, a leading international legal and professional services firm, is expanding its Dublin tax team. The Tax Associate will work on high‑profile domestic and cross‑border transactions, supporting corporate, M&A, banking, investment funds, aviation finance, real estate and structured finance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax advisory on mergers & acquisitions, banking, structured finance, aviation finance, investment funds and real estate transactions.
• Deliver commercially focused tax advice on domestic and international corporate structures and business operations.
• Prepare and review tax advice, transaction documentation such as share purchase agreements, financing documents and investment agreements.
• Collaborate with Corporate, Banking, Real Estate and Financial Services teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Monitor legislative developments and conduct technical research to support client advice.

Required profile

• Qualified Lawyer, Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with 1–4 years post‑qualified experience.
• Experience providing tax advisory services within a recognised law firm, accountancy practice or financial services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish corporate and financial services taxation.
• Experience advising on corporate transactions, restructuring, investment funds, banking, M&A or other commercial tax matters.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills with strong commercial awareness.
