Tax Manager – Senior Role in Leading Irish Organisation

About the role

Our client, a large and respected organisation operating across Ireland and the UK, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its Group Finance function. The role offers a strategic, commercially‑focused position within a fast‑moving business undergoing significant transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused tax advice across corporate projects and business operations.
• Manage Irish and UK corporation tax compliance and reporting.
• Lead tax provisioning for statutory reporting, forecasts and management accounts.
• Support major transactions, business cases and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee transfer pricing documentation and international tax compliance.
• Maintain and enhance the organisation’s tax governance and control framework.
• Lead tax forecasting and support business planning processes.
• Drive tax technology and process improvement initiatives through data analytics.

Required profile

• CTA or Chartered Tax qualification (or equivalent).
• Approximately 10+ years of tax experience, with at least 7 years post‑qualification.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax and tax reporting.
• Experience managing complex tax compliance and governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while influencing multiple business functions.
