Tax & Regulatory Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Albany Beck is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a large‑scale custody tax and regulatory remediation programme. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across implementation, custody tax, operations and technology to gather requirements, analyse data and support reporting remediation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering for tax and regulatory reporting workstreams and produce detailed functional documentation.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions, supporting delivery planning and programme execution.
• Analyse complex custody, transactional and client data sets to validate reporting outputs and investigate discrepancies.
• Participate in testing phases, including external client testing, and manage defect resolution.
• Partner with senior stakeholders, provide leadership in workshops, and manage risks, issues and dependencies.

Required profile

• Significant experience in custody, wealth management, institutional asset servicing or banking environments.
• Proven track record supporting regulatory change, remediation or transformation programmes.
• Strong business analysis expertise within financial services, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders.
