About the role

Join English 1 for a one‑year adventure teaching English to children and teens across Indonesia. No prior teaching experience or Bahasa required – we provide full training, a visa sponsorship and a supportive community.

Key responsibilities

Teach English to children and teens (ages 3–18) using English 1’s award‑winning multimedia curriculum.
Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and cultural exchange programs.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Valid passport.
Commitment to a minimum one‑year placement in Indonesia.

Required skills

ESL/TEFL certification (sponsorship available through English 1).
