Team Leader - Financial Statement and Regulatory Reporting

About the role

Citco is seeking a Team Leader to oversee financial statement and regulatory reporting services for its fund services clients. You will manage the end‑to‑end delivery of reporting engagements, ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS, and mentor a team of reporting professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete financial and regulatory reporting engagements, including planning, budgeting, and client relationship management.
• Provide training and guidance on accounting standards and regulations relevant to fund financial statements.
• Research and communicate recent authoritative pronouncements to the reporting team and clients.
• Lead, allocate, and review work of the reporting staff, setting goals and conducting performance evaluations.
• Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and audit firms.
• Identify opportunities for new business and value‑added service enhancements.
• Prepare and review engagement reports and ad‑hoc client requests.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in fund accounting and reporting.
• Proven experience leading a team of accountants or auditors.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for funds.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; professional designation (CA, ACCA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.
