Tech Support Manager – IT Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Support Manager to lead the day‑to‑day management of our IT infrastructure across the UK and ROI. The role combines on‑site responsibilities at our Dublin site with remote support for a geographically dispersed technology team.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain on‑premise IT assets (switches, firewalls, access points, computers, storage) primarily at the Dublin location.
• Ensure high availability of CRM, Service and Finance systems in partnership with Group App Managers and the Head of Infrastructure.
• Manage and monitor cloud environments, with a focus on Azure, and optimise performance across sites.
• Oversee cyber‑security tools (EDR, web filtering, SIEM, email filtering, backup solutions, MDM) and enforce patching and vulnerability remediation.
• Maintain service‑provider relationships, conducting regular reviews to meet service‑level expectations.
• Support end‑user compute, telephony, networking, monitoring and collaboration tools.
• Provide regional coverage in the ROI through site visits as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing traditional on‑premise IT systems and public cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Comfortable working remotely while coordinating on‑site activities.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance processes.
• Ability to collaborate with senior technical leaders and service‑provider partners.
