Technical Operative

About the role

The Technical Operative will support the delivery of clean‑room and controlled‑environment solutions at our Leixlip site. You will combine hands‑on mechanical and electrical work with stock and logistics tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues, performing manual repairs when needed.
• Install, relocate and commission equipment according to project plans.
• Receive goods, verify quantities, organise stock and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Pick, pack and deliver customer orders within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and proactively address discrepancies.
• Use computerised systems to track work, manage project deliverables and complete tasks on schedule.

Required profile

• Strong technical aptitude with a keen eye for detail.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, flexible and able to thrive under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer‑service orientation.
• Willingness to take on additional duties as required.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Projects.
• Knowledge of Teamwork or similar project‑management software.
