Technician II – Data Center Remote Hands & Implementation

About the role

The Technician II provides on‑site support for data‑center customers, handling remote‑hands requests, cross‑connects, and implementation activities. Working night shifts, the role ensures continuous operation of customer infrastructure while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute remote‑hands tasks such as equipment migration, labeling, installation, testing and emergency troubleshooting.
• Perform special maintenance, equipment exchanges, and technical measurements as required.
• Set up and de‑install cross‑connects, including cabling, documentation and testing.
• Draft and execute Method of Procedure (MOP), Change Requests (CR) and End‑of‑Procedure (EOP) documents.
• Report and administer customer requests in internal systems, ensuring compliance with policies and risk assessments.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Level I Technicians when needed.

Required profile

• Experience in telecommunications, IT or electrotechnical network infrastructure environments.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to work night shifts and follow safety and cleanliness standards in a data‑center setting.
