Territory Sales Executive – Industrial Adhesives & Tapes (Ireland)

About the role

3M is seeking a Territory Sales Executive for its Industrial Adhesives & Tapes Division covering the whole of Ireland. You will work directly with end‑users, distributors and key accounts to grow market share and deliver on a $3.5 million sales target.

Key responsibilities

• Promote, demonstrate and sell the designated range of industrial adhesives and tapes to end‑users, achieving sales targets set in the IATD operating plan.
• Develop and maintain deep product knowledge, monitor competitor activity and report market changes that could affect business.
• Identify, manage and grow nominated key accounts, building strong relationships with contacts, contractors and engineering consultants.
• Collaborate with distributors, providing training and support to their internal and external sales teams.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, opportunities and activities in the CRM system.
• Continuously improve market, product and application expertise, as well as selling and administrative skills.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling adhesives, tapes or other industrial products, with a track record of winning and retaining business.
• Experience managing a multi‑product sales territory.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage at all organisational levels.
• Comfortable challenging ideas constructively and operating within a complex organisation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for territory management.
• Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
