Travel Claims Handler – Remote (Ireland)

About the role
We are seeking a Travel Claims Handler to join a fast‑growing claims management business on a fully remote basis in Ireland. The successful candidate will manage travel insurance claims from first notice of loss through to settlement, providing clear communication and accurate decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Handle travel claims from FNOL to settlement.
- Communicate with policyholders throughout the claims journey.
- Review claim documentation and verify policy coverage.
- Assess liability and make claim decisions within authority limits.
- Maintain accurate claims records and documentation.
- Identify and escalate potential fraud indicators.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet service standards.
- Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum 6 months experience handling travel insurance claims.
- APA or CIP qualification preferred.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Team‑oriented, hardworking and ambitious.
