Travel Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Travel Manager to lead the governance, administration and continuous improvement of our Travel & Expense (T&E) programme. The role ensures business travel is managed efficiently, cost‑effectively and in full compliance with company policy while supporting employees across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the Perk travel platform, ensuring all bookings (air, rail, hotel, car hire) follow policy.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Travel & Expense policy, driving compliance and best practice.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for travel‑related queries, bookings, changes and emergency travel needs.
• Develop and execute an accommodation strategy, including hotel sourcing, rate negotiation and preferred supplier management.
• Partner with Finance to monitor travel spend, produce reports, identify cost‑saving opportunities and support audits.
• Oversee virtual debit card usage, ensuring appropriate controls, monitoring and reconciliation.
• Manage supplier relationships and corporate rewards programmes to maximise business value.
• Ensure accurate onboarding/off‑boarding of travellers and maintain system data integrity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in travel management, T&E programmes or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of policy governance, compliance and financial controls.
• Commercial acumen with experience negotiating with hotels or travel providers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
