Travel Reservations Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a sales‑driven Travel Reservations Consultant to join a leading international travel arrangement company. Reporting to the Call Centre Cruise Manager, you will manage cruise reservations from initial enquiry through post‑booking support, delivering expert advice to travel agents and direct customers.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries from travel agents and direct customers, providing detailed advice on cruise lines, itineraries, ships, cabin types and onboard experiences.
• Create and process cruise bookings accurately using supplier policies and promote preferred cruise partners and monthly campaigns.
• Manage after‑sales support, including booking amendments, upgrades, re‑pricing and special requests.
• Generate ancillary revenue by promoting pre‑ and post‑cruise accommodation, flights, transfers, shore excursions, insurance and onboard packages.
• Use GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo) and cruise booking platforms, manage daily GDS queues and maintain accurate booking records.

Required profile

• Confident, customer‑focused cruise specialist with a strong sales mindset.
• Proven sales performance in a call‑centre or travel environment.
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
