About the role

Lilly’s Technical Services and Manufacturing Science (TS/MS) team is looking for a Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry student to join a 12‑month internship at the Dunderrow manufacturing site in Kinsale. The role offers hands‑on exposure to process support, safety, quality and regulatory activities while contributing to commercialisation and technology transfer projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide online operational support and assist with process safety and quality tasks.
  • Participate in deviation management, investigations and cross‑functional project work.
  • Collaborate with the TS/MS team to apply and expand academic knowledge in a real manufacturing environment.

Required profile

  • Enrolled in a Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry degree program.
  • Motivated to work in a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven environment.
  • Willing to work on‑site four days a week and remotely one day.

Required skills

  • Basic understanding of chemical synthesis processes.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety and quality principles.
