Warehouse Operative

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Warehouse Operative to join our fast‑moving logistics team. You will be responsible for handling goods safely, supporting the flow of stock, and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload stock from staging areas to delivery vehicles, following scanning and checking procedures.
• Place incoming goods in the correct storage locations and perform stock put‑away.
• Pick, pack, and prepare shipments according to customer specifications and logistics coordinator instructions.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, assist with stock takes, and replenish pick faces as needed.
• Report faults, damages, or safety incidents immediately to the supervisor.
• Maintain communication with Freight, Logistics, and Transport departments and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately.
• Support health and safety by operating material handling equipment safely and reporting any incidents.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar warehouse role.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow quality‑control procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
