About the role
PwC Ireland is looking for a motivated Web Specialist to join its Digital Team within Clients & Markets. This early‑career position offers the chance to develop web publishing, front‑end implementation and digital experience skills while supporting the company’s main website and related digital channels.
Key responsibilities
- Build, publish and maintain web pages using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Collaborate with designers and content specialists to turn concepts into functional web experiences.
- Optimize website performance, accessibility and usability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the website and digital channels.
- Create simple wireframes and prototypes for campaigns and content.
- Apply brand and design standards consistently.
- Use analytics and user‑behaviour data to improve site structure and user journeys.
- Ensure cross‑device and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Support integrated campaign delivery across web and digital channels.
- Implement responsive, accessible front‑end code with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Required profile
- A recognised degree in Web Development, Digital Media, Interactive Design or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2 years of relevant experience gained through internships, placements or early‑career roles.
- Experience working in collaborative or project‑based environments.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of Content Management Systems, preferably Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and core JavaScript concepts.
- Familiarity with modern front‑end approaches such as modular or component‑based development.
- Awareness of responsive and mobile‑first design principles.
- Understanding of web accessibility standards and inclusive design.
- Exposure to performance optimisation techniques (load speed, image optimisation, efficient code).
- Basic knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and their impact on content and site structure.
