Women's Health Consultant – Medical Cannabis (Remote, Ireland)

About the role

Montu is seeking experienced women’s health consultants to provide clinical care using medical cannabis for a range of female health conditions. This permanent, fully remote position allows you to focus on direct patient interaction while multidisciplinary support handles administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality pain‑management and symptom‑relief care for conditions such as endometriosis, PMDD, menopausal symptoms, fertility issues, and chronic pelvic pain.
• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing consultations, tailoring medical cannabis treatment plans to individual needs.
• Collect and analyse clinical outcome data to support evidence‑based practice.
• Maintain clinical governance standards and contribute to robust patient‑care protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, and other specialists within a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in continuous professional development, including specialist training in cannabis‑based medicines.

Required profile

• Full, valid GMC registration and MRCOG qualification.
• Completion of specialist training (CCST/CCT) or equivalent, ideally listed on the GMC Specialist Register.
• Current or progressing qualification in pain management.
• Demonstrated experience managing women’s health conditions.
